Q:Is AFP appropriate for high school or college students?

A:No, AFP is a program designed for mid-career professionals with at least 5 years work experience. High school and transfer students interested in attending Harvard College need to apply directly with Undergraduate Admissions. The College offers an extensive need-based financial aid program for students, and so, financial considerations should never bar a student from applying. College students interested in pursuing Graduate School Admissions should check directly with the department they are interested in.

Q:Do I need a background in education administration to apply?

A:No, AFP encourages professionals from various backgrounds to bring their unique talents to the field of education. We have Fellows from backgrounds including the professions, education, and government.

Q:Can you describe the seminar series?

A:The seminar series is a supplement to the work experience. Seminars are held twice a month and feature tenured professors and high-level administrators who provide their personal insight on strategies and approaches to management and advancement in the university setting.
